ADNAN N Ship Repair & Maintenance — Tuzla, Istanbul

The general cargo vessel ADNAN N underwent a comprehensive ship repair and maintenance programme by DM Denizcilik in Tuzla, Istanbul.

Works Carried Out

1	STEP 1 Chain Locker Overhead Bracket Renewal Inside the chain locker, the worn overhead steel brackets were removed and renewed; new brackets were fabricated and welded into place.
2	STEP 2 Steel Renewal & Weld Build-up Steel renewal, pitting weld build-up and full-length watertight weld seams were applied to the hull.
3	STEP 3 Mooring Bollard Fabrication Steel mooring bollards were fabricated and welded onto the deck.
4	STEP 4 Hatch Cover & Cleat Maintenance The hatch/manhole cover was overhauled; worn dogs and cleats were renewed by welding.
5	STEP 5 Deck Crane & Equipment Overhaul The deck crane tower, sheave blocks and deck equipment were fully overhauled.
